The best part of party planning is selecting the favors. I love favors because it’s a token your guest can take with them to remember the fun time they had, which is why I always aim to give something that’s thoughtful. I don’t normally have birthday parties for my children, because we usually do something fun as a family, but this year I decided to plan one for my daughter. Of course, it came as no surprise that she wanted a Frozen theme party. I set out to find favors and kept coming across the usual uninspired trinkets. I then stumbled upon a great favor idea for a kid’s party; it was a cookie-in-a-jar, found in the most unlikely place, Pottery Barn Kids. It was a unique idea that engages parents and children to bake the cookies together (not to mention a delicious treat that the whole family can enjoy). Though, I customized the favors to go with the party theme you have the option to use their design and printouts. It was simple and inexpensive to make, and best of all you can reuse the mason jars!
Giving thoughtful gifts doesn’t just stop at a kid’s party. I had the privilege of creating sugar scrub favors for a baby “sprinkle”. The favors were custom made to go with their color theme and choice of fragrance. A sugar scrub is a perfect idea for shower favors—who doesn’t love sugar scrubs?! Are you planning an event and would like to give something special to your guests? Let's talk. I would love to do something similar for your next event!
