Nature's First Aid

Tea Tree oil is a must-have in your medicine cabinet. It has excellent therapeutic properties such as analgesic, anti-bacterial, anti-histamine, and so much more.  Due to its properties, there are many skin benefits in using it for day to day issues. It's also suitable for all ages and can be used at a maximum dilution of 15%. I have used it on my children, particular for fever blisters and cuts and has worked wonders in the healing process.

This winter has been causing havoc to my hands. My cuticles were rough and were extremely painful. I needed something that was going to deal with the pain and heal the peeling, so I went for my trusted tea tree and made cuticle oil to massage on my cuticles. I decided to make the cuticle oil using a ratio of 12 drops of tea tree oil to 30 ml of sweet almond oil.  It worked perfectly and so easy to make.  I would recommend keeping this on hand at all times.
